He received a PhD on Applied Geophysics at Trieste University in 1998.
He was experienced in acquisition and processing of crustal and high-resolution seismic data on land and offshore.
He developed new tools for tomographic inversion of seismic data by using the pre-stack migration to obtain a detailed velocity model.
During his career he reached high level of experience in applied geophysics, regarding the acquisition, processing, inversion and analysis of 3D and 2D seismic data.
